Leaving Adelaide we travel north to the head of Spencer Gulf and Pt Augusta before taking the Stuart highway to Woomera for lunch before continuing on to Coober Pedy and a trip out to the Breakaways. Follow the Dingo fence through the Mars scape before returning to Coober Pedy. Day two travel across Anna Creek Station, (the largest cattle property in the world) before a spectacular 1 hour scenic flight over Lake Eyre from William Creek. Depending on availability stay overnight at the William Creek Hotel, (the most outback of outback pubs in Australia) not the Ritz but you would not want to miss the experience. Return to Adelaide via the Oodnadatta Track, stopping off at Old Ghan railway station ruins, Mound springs, Bubbler Springs, Curdimurka railway siding (the site of the famous bi-annual Curdimurka Outback Ball). At Lake Eyre South the 3 day tour returns via Roxby Downs, the 4 & 5 day tours continue on to Arkaroola & the Flinders Ranges. Travel in the comfort of a modern air-conditioned 4WD station wagon, registered chauffeured vehicle. Follow in the footsteps of the famous explorer John Mc Douall Stuart and the old Ghan Railway.
