Day two: Early breakfast before a 30 minute flight over Wilpena Pound. Depart for Chambers Gorge, the most spectacular accessible gorge in the Flinders Ranges. 4WD trek into gorge for lunch in idyllic surroundings and view the gallery of aboriginal rock engravings reputed to be thousands of years old. Return to Wilpena via the old copper mining town of Blinman and the Flinders Ranges National Park. Day three: Return to Adelaide via Bunyeroo Valley & Gorge, Aroona, Brachina Gorge, and on to Hawker for lunch. Then on to Adelaide via the Clare Valley stopping for wine tasting on the way. Arrive in Adelaide approx 6.00 - 6.30pm. |
