“The Secret Painted Hills” are no longer a secret.

Until recently the location of the Painted Hills region of Outback South Australia was a closely guarded secret known only to pilots & cattle men who worked in this remote area. The only way to experience this amazing landscape is on a Scenic flight with Wrightsair from William Creek on the Oodnadatta Track. This pristine area is now, and will remain, “Off Limits” to all vehicles.

Aussie Heritage Tours, 4WD Aussie Outback Adventures operate personalized, fully accommodated 4 or 5 day extended tours ex Adelaide and include a 60 minute Lake Eyre Scenic Flight with Wrightsair.  We will change the scenic flight from Lake Eyre to The Painted Hills scenic flight if all passengers agree, an additional charge of $30 pp will apply for upgrading to the “Painted Hills scenic flight”.
