A short note to thank you, and Mick (third driver) and Paul (new owner
from June 2011), most sincerely for a wonderful week.
Our first
‘organised’ tour, and different from the do it yourself/drive yourself ones we
have done for many years.
Professionally
organised and executed, with amazing stories and facts presented to help us
absorb what we were seeing and feeling. Well done.
The trip
was also excellent value for money, memorable flights and excursions, good
accommodation and meals,

Successful
tours need a firm and knowledgeable leader, and Lyn and I appreciated your
no-compromise stand when it mattered.
We felt
informed, safe and in good hands. I heard a couple of the group complain that
the first day was too long, but I disagree.
We needed
to be in the thick of it by day one, otherwise it becomes a 6-7 day tour. (ed. Precisely, this is why I designed the tour this way).
Now to try
and cull some of the 620 photos, read some of
David Johnson’s The Geology of Australia (2nd edn, 2009) ....
and work
out where and when to draw the line. (ed. retirement
line)

Hi Graeme;
We returned home from our tour last Saturday, having enjoyed it
immensely.
The other people on the trip were quite compatible and the drivers (Paul
& Mick) very competent, attentive and informative.
(Paul Keen, proprietor of Wallaby Tacks Adventure Tours, will be the new
owner of Aussie Heritage
Nick is an ex National Parks Ranger for the Outback)
We were particularly pleased to be able to do an excursion out to
(ed. 8 passengers in two
vehicles ganged up on Paul & he threw in some extra. We don’t mind going
the “Extra Mile” time permitting ).
The flights over the lake, and over the
surrounding country and rivers were excellent.
To see the Warburton entering
It was also great to be able to do a walk down to the Cooper at
Innamincka.
Arkaroola and the Ridgetop tour were also excellent.
